Coordinates order processing, purchasing support, customer communication, and shipment preparation. Maintains accurate records in the ERP system, tracking open orders, and ensuring timely communication between customers, vendors, and internal departments. Supports the order-to-invoice process by entering customer purchase orders and coordinating invoices with Finance, with opportunities to develop quoting responsibilities.
This role is responsible for assembling mechanical and electrical components into complete systems by following detailed assembly drawings and electrical schematics. Electron-Mechanical Techs also support machine modifications, assist engineers during system debugging, track project progress, and help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
Responsible for designing, programming, and debugging control systems and user interfaces for industrial machinery (including PLCs, schematics, and hardware), collaborating with engineering teams and customers, and documenting and supporting control solutions.
Supports customer equipment installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and service improvements through on-site work and travel while applying mechanical, electrical, and controls expertise.
Supports the development of custom machinery by designing, assembling, and testing mechanical systems, including tooling, guarding, structural components, and controls. Mechanical Systems Engineers also travel as needed to install, service, and maintain equipment at customer sites.
Oversees projects, manages schedules, resources, budgets, and customer communication while aligning cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery. They also drive continuous improvement by optimizing processes, analyzing performance data, and supporting engineering and manufacturing to enhance product quality, occasionally contributing to design and programming.
