This is a full-time on-site role for a Control Systems Engineer, located in Windsor, CT. Responsible for developing control systems for industrial machinery, including selecting suitable control hardware, generating schematics, fabricating control electronics and developing machine code and user interfaces for PLC and PC based systems. Ability to create and edit/revise existing ladder logic and procedural programming. Work with the mechanical design team to ensure smooth interfacing between mechanical, electrical, and software systems. Work with the technical writer to develop documentation of software for users by performing the following duties.

Language Ability
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Math Ability
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, musical notes, etc.,) in its most difficult phases. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
