JT Automation is born from parent company Joining Technologies (JT). JTA was founded in response to the ever-growing demand for laser-processing equipment tailored to specific customer requirements–particularly the need for automated systems.
JT Automation lands its first major contract: a $20 million contract for around 30 systems in three different designs for the aviation industry.
JT Automation announces the addition of its Optimized division for laser automation repair services. Optimized is designed to provide full field service capabilities to a variety of machines and laser systems.
Ryan Lombardini is appointed president of JT Automation. Lombardini first joined JTA in 2016 as an engineering intern. He later served as VP of sales and marketing before being promoted to president. Lombardini and additional leadership are credited for their collaborative efforts in surpassing all-time sales records for JT Automation.
JT Automation moves from East Granby, CT, to Windsor, CT, expanding its development and production footprint by more than sixfold.
